Forest Row News is a Free Independent Magazine and has been in print since September 2005. It is delivered door to door throughout Forest Row and is available through many distribution points around the village and in surrounding areas. This is a real community magazine, which allows local businesses to promote their products and services and provides the reader with community news, local events information and a variety of general interest articles.
The monthly content is interesting and varied such as; green issues, a monthly horoscope, pet advice, weight loss tips, health & fitness pages, financial advice, recipes, local press releases, local history features, puzzle page with crosswords and spot the difference and contribution from local residents. A recent addition is a monthly article on Transition Towns specifically covering Forest Row.
The Forest Row News Magazine is produced each month by local residents; Katherine, Scott and Karen.
Our
aims in producing the magazine are to provide local businesses with a
means of promoting their products and services to residents of Forest
Row and surrounding areas, whilst also offering readers a FREE monthly
magazine filled with interesting content and local event information
and news. From feedback we regularly get the magazine is gratefully
received by the local residents, who after having read the content hold
onto the magazine and use it as a business directory.
We are always open to new contributors and will consider articles from local residents and any local news for publication in the Forest Row News.
